This is an introductory course of Partial Differential Equations, where we will focus or their main properties, explicit solutions to classical equations, as well as modern methods to study well-posed problems.

Midterm evaluations

There will be two midterm evaluations, which consists of oral presentations in class (50%) and discussion of assigned problems (50%).


  • First midterm: October 5
  • Second midterm: November 30

Final evaluation

The final examination will consist of a public presentation of an specific topic (50%) and an oral examination (50%).
